PCMG Secures Place on CCS Framework Designed to Recover £220m

Leading UK cost recovery consultancy PCMG confirms today that it has secured a place on a new framework, designed to recover £220m for the public sector.

PCMG has been awarded the Energy, Water and Telecoms lots on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) new ‘Spend Analysis and Recovery Services II’ framework (Ref: RM3820).

This new framework means that public sector organisations across the UK can access the most effective forensic auditing services, to recover historical overcharges on Energy, Water and Telecoms. This will be achieved quickly and simply, from a single, central location and without the need for senior management sign-off.

It will provide significant support, encouragement and ease for the public sector as a whole, to partner with the right organisations to recover erroneous payments made, forecast by the CCS to be up to £220m over the planned four years of the framework.

Commenting on the award, PCMG’s Key Account Director James Paine said “PCMG has secured more than £35m in refunds and savings from ‘settled’ invoices for the public sector in the past six years alone. Our place on the framework therefore means access to a world-class operating cost consultancy, with the strongest track record in recoveries for our clients.”
